The Hair Company first opened its doors in 1982 in Crestwood Plaza, a small neighborhood plaza in the Albany, NY area.  This location was chosen because that is what The Hair Company is all about.  It is smaller, more personal shop. 

The Hair Company is a salon that is designed to capture the wants and needs of each client individually.  Our stylists are dedicated to working with each client and spending the time with them to create the end result that you desire.  

Now under new ownership as of January 1, 2006, The Hair Company continues to strive for that personal touch and attention that each of our clients deserves and wants when coming in for a new hairstyle, look or just a little sprucing up!  No matter the service, our experienced and dedicated stylist are there to consult with you and have you leaving with the look you came in for!

The Hair Company is now a REDKEN exclusive hair salon offering only the best quality products for your services.

The Hair Company also offers Spa Pedicures and Manicures.
